Peach Picking at Eckert’s
Boy, if you live in the midwest then you know just how spoiled we’ve been with this gorgeous weather! Saturday was one of the most beautiful July days I’ve ever witnessed. Sun, blue skies, puffy clouds, and about 75 degrees. Just perfect. With weather like this we had to make a trip to Eckert’s to pick some peaches!
Mike’s shirt: Urban Outfitters // My top: Old Navy
My camera and I have been attached at the hip lately, and with that, a lot more memories and fun moments caught like these ones. I don’t know why I ever worried about lugging my camera with me before…well, maybe I carry it more now because of the new pink polka dotted camera strap I bought. Just maybe.
With freshly picked peaches comes fresh peach betty, courtesy of my mama. Hey, I can bake, but she’s just so darn good that I let her take the reins and get all the credit. Just remember, without the peaches Mike and I picked, there would be no peach betty to make ;)This was so delicious. Sweet, peachy, and that crunchy crumble on top was to-die-for.
OOTD: Eyelets and Gardens
top: August Silk [$13] // chino shorts: Gap [$15]spiked bracelet: Groopdealz [$5] // beaded tassel bracelet: Nordstrom [$18]top ring: grandmas wedding ring passed down to me [priceless] // heart ring: Groopdealz [$1.95]I think I dressed appropriately for another fun day of St. Louis adventures with none other than Mike. Every once in awhile, on a day off, we get lucky and the St. Louis heat and humidity subsides and leaves us with 80 degree weather, sunshine, a nice breeze, and zero stickiness. We started our morning off in the Loop to sell some of Mike’s clothes at Avalon and grab a coffee. Then we made our way to The Hill for lunch and my first ever gelato! If you’re ever in The Hill, stop by Amighetti’s for sandwiches and try to sit on the patio — so nice.Right across the street was this little gem. Mike got lemon and I opted for salted caramel. So. Good. After we were full of bread and gelato, we headed to one of our favorite spots, the Missouri Botanical Garden. It just so happened to be Mr. Henry Shaw’s birthday. That meant free admission to stroll the beautiful gardens and snap tons of photos. This is very quickly becoming my absolute favorite place not only in St. Louis, but maybe anywhere. I can’t wait to see it in the fall!
:)Mike pulled a Kelsey and took a secret shot of me. I’m proud, babe.
I hope you all find days like these where everything is just…perfect. Have a great day!

Wish List: E’s Closet Boutique Must-Haves
I recently earned the role of “campus rep” for an adorable online boutique called E’s Closet Boutique. I’ll be repping and spreading the word about the boutique all around my campus, and of course, online as well. I thought since many of you might now know much about E’s, that I’d share my five favorites. Let’s jump right in!
Jade top: I love anything white and lacy and this is the perfect flouncy top with both! I can even picture transitioning this into the fall with riding boots — ahh!
Justine top: Let’s talk about the gorgeous and colorful detail around the neckline…so perfect.
Kiki romper: Yep, I loved this romper so much that I purchased it myself. Visit the site to see just how adorable the back is!
Valentina dress: I’m a huge fan of necklines like this, and it had beautiful detail, and it’s white. It’s a winner in my book.
Lola dress: Lastly, the perfect little black dress with another fun back! Enough said, right, ladies?
