- Monday night silliness in downtown St. Louis.
- Springtime means gardening! Picked out lots of pretty flowers and rocked my new crystal spiked bracelet.
- Taking “notes” in class…History of Rock and Roll to be exact. Stop. Don’t laugh.
- Words to live by.
Not a whole lot going on this week. Hey, at least I wasn’t sick, so I’m not complaining. School is finishing up, which means lots of tying up loose ends. I can’t tell you how nice it will feel to be done with school and to focus all of my time on my internship and blogging. They’ll go hand-in-hand, but like I said before, I’ll fill you all in on that later! This is my final week of actual classes, and I promise I’ll be getting back into the swing of things. I have lots of OOTD posts and reviews coming up! Anyone like free tanning? Yeah, stay tuned, folks — it’ll be worth your while ;)
After this post I should be all caught up! No more playing catch-up…I really hate feeling behind. These photos are from this past Sunday. It was a perfect spring day and Mike and I decided to spend it at Grants Farm.
I like taking pictures of him when he’s not paying attention.
The shirt is from Urban Outfitters.
So. Cute. My shirt is also from Urban Outfitters.
It’s no surprise that I’m playing catchup, so I thought, why not double up on blog posts? So, each day I’ll try to share a fashion post along with a personal post until I’m all caught up!
When I think of spring I think of warmer weather, BBQ’s, and baseball. We kicked off the first stint of really nice spring-like weather with a nice BBQ at my brother’s house. We were able to spend some time in the sun grilling and watch hours of great baseball. There’s truly nothing better than a Sunday afternoon with family.

Opening day of baseball is a huge deal, but even more huge in St. Louis. So huge, in fact, that it’s nearly impossible to buy tickets! Mike and I weren’t going to let that stop up, so we headed downtown where all the energy and commotion was and enjoyed the game from the comfort of the City Garden. We ended the afternoon with some frozen yogurt and all-in-all the day was a winner — well, not the actual game…just our day as a whole, really.
It was only a few days later that Mike and I were able to go to our first Cardinals game of the season. We stayed at the Casino Queen where I woke up to a lovely view of the Arch. The shuttle drove us straight to Busch where we had all-inclusive tickets where we ate and drank all we wanted…well, mostly drank. It was a perfect game and I can’t wait for many more this summer!
Thanks for keeping up with my crazy posts! I’ll try to never get sick again ;)
I find that there are several staples to every lady’s closet. For the longest time I would have never considered leopard print to be a staple, ever. Little did I know just how amazing and classy leopard print is. I think some people shy away from it because they think it can be too bold or tacky, but as you’ll see in this post, all of my outfits are very much put together and quite tame. I use it to tie a lot of my outfits together and it’s honestly my most versatile item (along with my leopard pumps) in my whole wardrobe. Here are some ways I’ve styled the leopard print belt! Let me start off by saying how awful the flu is. I’m one of those people who thinks they’re invincible when it comes to stomach bugs…boy, was I wrong. The flu got me and I’ve been out cold for the past 3-4 days. I never realized how much I do in a day until I got sick and saw all of the things I had to do pile up: blog posts, emails, work, homework, showering, moving, eating, AHH! Alas, I am feeling quite a bit better today and thought I’d actually try to post something. Don’t be too shocked, but it is an OOTD post. I know, I know… it’s been since fall since the last time I’ve done this, but I’m getting back into the swing of things slowly, but surely. Enjoy my internship interview outfit (more t0 come on the internship)! Continue reading
