Reading is one of my favorite hobbies! These are the 4 books I’ll be reading (or making a dent in) over my winter break. From a 900-page book on the greatest president ever, to a 200-page young adult book for some light reading. These are some of my suggestions — read along with me!
As the title implies, this is my DREAM wish list. I don’t remember the last time I actually made a Christmas list, but it was fun living in lala land for a little bit. All of these items are way out of my price range, but if some of you are lucky enough to ask and receive these items for Christmas — lucky you! None of them are necessities or even that practical, but isn’t that what Christmas gifts are all about? I mean, no one asks for things they need…right?
- J. Crew — That fuchsia coat..and those cozy shoes.. ah, the sparkly bow ring. Need I say more? I mean, really.
- Kate Spade — How adorably funny are these bags? I’d rock those any day.
- Lorac — Can’t have too many eye shadow palettes. This is the perfect neutral palette. Even more perfect than the last 4 neutral palettes I bought.
- Michael Kors — You know. just a dream bag in every sense of the word.
- Tory Burch — I’ve been wanting these forever! Simple black flats with the gold Tory Burch symbol. So. Classy. Ugh.
One more girl is legal and ready to have a good time! This past Friday we celebrated my friend Nesmira’s 21st birthday! We got all dressed up and went to a delicious dinner at the Elephant Bar. I don’t know if it’s a St. Louis or midwestern restaurant, or if it’s a widespread chain, but it was yummy! I love these beautiful ladies and winter break for allowing me the time to spend with them again!
I didn’t want to go too overboard, so I kept it simple with a cream top with a pleated neckline and shoulders. I paired it with plain dark wash skinnies, and neutral pumps.

I told you I’d be back! This probably isn’t the “back” you were expecting, but it’s raining outside and I have contractors coming to my place all week long. What a great way to start my winter break. So, because I’m going to be in a house of strange men all week, I’m going to make do with what I have on my computer and Polyvore. No worries, I’ll still come up with some awesome posts for you ladies.
I wore this outfit yesterday to do some last minute Christmas shopping. Hence the mirrored hallway at Home Goods in the photo. People stared and I just did not care. Here’s the breakdown of what I wore:
oversized cardigan: Kenar (TJMaxx) + navy tights: unknown brand (TJMaxx) + leg warmers: Chinese Laundry + scarf: Forever 21 + brown riding boots: Alfani
