Valentine’s Day Outfits for Any Date

I can’t believe it’s almost Valentine’s Day! I know many hate it, but I really do love all the sappiness that goes into the holiday. Every V-Day date is different. Whether you’re going to an ultra fancy dinner date with your man, or hitting the town with your girls — I’ve got just the looks for you!
This first look is the most casual of the three. This would be perfect if you’re just grabbing some drinks with your girlfriends, or if your guy is a lot more laid back. Some nice fitting jeans, a cute loose tee with a structured blazer and you’re solid. Add a sleek flat and some bling to play up the look. I paired the outfit with a darker nude lip and smoked out the eye.Valentine's Day: Casual

This next look happens to be my favorite. It’s playful and bright and can be worn to a nice dinner or romantic stroll around town (not this town because it’s colder than crap, but you catch my drift). It’s not “hey, i’m wearing jeans” casual, but it’s definitely not as fancy as the final look I put together. This red flowy top is cute and sexy all in one. Add the TO DIE FOR sequined striped J. Crew pants with some chic red heels and call it a night. I picked sparkly, yet subtle jewelry since there’s quite a bit of red going on and kept the makeup nice and neutral.
Valentine's Day: Just Right

Last, but not least, the fanciest look of them all! If you’re being seduced by roses, lavish dinners and limo rides…basically if you’re the leading lady in a rom-com, this look is for you! This is my little dream Valentine’s Day outfit. I don’t think I’ll ever have a reason to dress this nice on V-Day, but ya never know. I put together this flirty red dress with sleek black heels and a clutch. I paired the look with blingy black accents and you better believe I added a winged liner and the brightest red lip I could find. Eat your hearts out, ladies! Valentine's Day: Dressed to the Nines

Here’s to a lovely and fun Valentine’s Day! Love you!

Thanksgiving Styling

It’s my favorite time of year for styling! I love the layering of colors and textures and thought I’d share with you a beautiful and simple look for Thanksgiving! Everything shown above is from J. Crew with the exception of the wedged booties from Target (which are on my Christmas list..hint hint). It’s a super versatile look that can easily be made more affordable than spending a small fortune at J. Crew. What are you all wearing for Thanksgiving? Do you dress it up or keep it casual for your day of chowing down? Let me know and have a great day, loves!

Styling Ideas: Bold Florals

I have a fun blogger event that I’m attending this evening and I thought I’d share with you what I’m wearing! No worries, they’ll be an actual post on the outfit and the event tomorrow. I snagged this bold floral dress for $11 at Kohls and couldn’t pass it up. I’m pairing it with a fun clutch and some subtle black wedges. I’ll add some more pops of color with my nails and lips. I’m really excited for tonight and I think this outfit will come together nicely. Happy hump day, everyone!Styling Preview

Soaking Up the Sun in January

It shouldn’t be a normal occurrence to have nearly 70-degree weather in January, but here in St. Louis it’s almost the norm. Unfortunately I start school Monday and I would have really appreciated this beautiful weather at the beginning of my winter break as opposed to now, but I assure you I’ll probably be walking to class in the snow on Monday. Typical. I couldn’t let the warm weather go to waste, so Mike and I took advantage of a day off and went to Forest Park. For those of you not from St. Louis, if you ever come here, you MUST go to Forest Park. Favorite place in this city, hands down. A picnic and a zoo visit was a must! Silly me decided to break out the flip flops (they were the only shoes that went with my outfit) and after months of not wearing them and continuous walking all day, I ended up with blisters. Oh, well. Beauty is pain, right?

Even with blisters I had the most amazing day with the most amazing person. It’s not everyday you can forget about everything and just focus on being happy and having fun. Okay, get ready for adorableness overload right…now… ;)
