January Ipsy Opening

Another month, another fantastic Ipsy bag! This month’s bag wasn’t so much about makeup, rather more treatments. Whether it’s for your face, hair, or lips, this bag’s got you covered this month! Read on to see photos and reviews of each of the products. As always, Ipsy is just $10 a month and I’ve found it to be one of the best deals our there for the quality and quantity of products you get.the_kelsey_wolfe_blog_january_ipsy_1Love this month’s makeup bag! I swear they get cuter each month!the_kelsey_wolfe_blog_january_ipsy_3Briogeo –deep conditioning hair mask

Let me start off by talking about the scent of this stuff…it’s amazing! It smells like a tropical vacation. It’s a nice thick and creamy consistency. I put it on my hair after I rinsed out my shampoo and let it sit for about 3 minutes. I’ve only used it once, but I will say that my hair does feel quite a bit softer, but it’s going to take a few uses before I see any real results.

MICA Beauty — tinted lip balm in Natural

I wasn’t sure about this until I tried it. It’s more than just a tinted lip balm. It’s actually pretty darn pigmented and was true to the shade you see swatched on my hand. It’s great when you don’t want to deal with keeping up with lipstick and just want a simple moisturizing balm with some great color.

Yaby — oil free liquid foundation

Will try and review soon!

the_kelsey_wolfe_blog_january_ipsy_5Proactiv — mark fading pads

I used these pads after I washed my face and I really enjoyed these little pads. I had a few breakouts on my face and when I wiped the pad over them I could really feel the medicine working. I’m a firm believer in thinking something works better if I can feel it — you know what I mean? Like I felt the sting/tingle and knew it was doing it’s job. And sure enough, I woke up and my blemishes had significantly gone down. I’m really, really liking these Proactiv pads! If you’re wondering, the main acne fighting ingredient is Salicylic Acid, so be careful of drying out your skin!the_kelsey_wolfe_blog_january_ipsy_6épicé –purifying exfoliant

I have been on the lookout for a new facial exfoliant and Ipsy delivered! I applied this to a clean face and rubbed it in with my index and middle fingers in tiny circular motions. Once it’s applied all over, let it sit for a few minutes and rinse off. Only do this one to two times a week! I really enjoyed this product and focused on problem areas like my nose and chin. There is no real scent to this product, either.
