Daily Makeup Routine Products

the_kelsey_wolfe_blog_makeup_routineI consider myself quite the makeup lover. Almost as much as I love clothes and shoes, in fact. This year on The Kelsey Wolfe Blog I hope to incorporate more beauty-inspired posts. Please let me know if this is something that you would all be interested in. Today’s post is all about about my daily makeup routine. This list is what I wear every single day when I choose to wear makeup which is more times than not. This doesn’t include special occasion looks, but I will definitely get to those in upcoming posts! Well, here it is… Let me know what you think and if there’s anything you’d suggest for a daily makeup routine!the_kelsey_wolfe_blog_makeup_22Benefit — The Pore-fessional [primer] • Maybelline — Instant Age Rewind Eraser [concealer]

This is BY FAR my favorite primer. It literally makes your pores disappear, and if you’re like me, that’s a huge deal. Once those suckers are covered up everything else glides on flawlessly. Just like my new favorite concealer. Don’t let the name of the product scare you. It brightens your eyes like nobodies business and the application couldn’t me simpler!
the_kelsey_wolfe_blog_makeup_19Physician’s Formula — Super BB All-In-One Beauty Balm Powder in Light/Medium [foundation]

I saw a lady post about this product and she did a before and after shot and I was sold! This stuff is amazing. It has the beauty benefits of a BB cream, only it’s in a much nicer and compact powder/balm form. I use a large kabuki brush and apply as many layers as I want to get the perfect coverage. This is my third one since July! I may never go back to liquid foundation ever again. It’s that good.the_kelsey_wolfe_blog_makeup_23Pixi — Beauty Bronzer in Subtly Sun-touched [bronzer] • Clinique —  Blushing Blush in Breathless Berry [blush]

Next, I received this cute little Pixi bronzer in last month’s Ipsy bag and fell in love. It’s nearly completely matte and contours super nicely. I then come in with my favorite Clinique blush in a berry hue perfect for the winter timethe_kelsey_wolfe_blog_makeup_24Physician’s Formula — Glow Pearls [highlight] • e.l.f. — Wet Brow Gloss [brows]

Physician’s Formula did it again! This highlighter is perfect for cheekbones and adds the perfect glow. I then prep my eyebrows with e.l.f.’s $1 brow gloss to get them ready for filling in.
the_kelsey_wolfe_blog_makeup_20Milani — Brow Fix Brow Kit in 02 Medium [brows]

This is a great and affordable brow kit. I use the middle shade just to fill in the inner corners of my brows. I even like the mini angled brush that it came with.the_kelsey_wolfe_blog_makeup_21Rimmel — Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Pencil in 005 Nude [waterline eyeliner]

I never wear black in my water line because it makes my eyes look tiny. I like to open them up with this perfect cream colored liner. It’s not as harsh as a white liner and looks super natural.
the_kelsey_wolfe_blog_makeup_25Covergirl — Eye Enhancers in taupe [eye shadow] • e.l.f. — Liquid Eye Liner in brown [liner] • Maybelline — The Rocket Volume Express in Blackest Black [mascara]

Then, when I’m in a hurry I’ll simply add the taupe color to my crease, do a little winged liner and add my favorite mascara to really make my eyes pop. I swear by all of these AFFORDABLE drugstore products.the_kelsey_wolfe_blog_makeup_26M.A.C — Matte Lipstick in Ruby Woo [lipstick] • Buxom — Full-On Lip Polish in Dolly [lip gloss]

I’m a lipstick girl and I love my red lips. When I’m feeling the red lip, I opt for Ruby Woo because there is truly not another more perfect matte red. If I just want a simple gloss, I go for Buxom’s Dolly to add fullness and shine!

I hope you enjoyed, ladies! Please share with me your favorites :)

  1. Love it! I got the Pixie Bronzer in my Ipsy, too, but I’ve yet to try it. I will be sure to pull it out so I remember to use it soon! Have you tried Maybelline’s version of the pore reducer primer? I haven’t, and I’m wondering if it’s any good!

    • I really like the bronzer! The only other primers I’ve tried were from Rimmel and then I used a discontinued age rewind one that I actually really liked and still use sometimes. The Rimmel one is not so great and has an orange hue to it when you apply it. I’ll have to try the Maybelline one you’re speaking of! I’m always down for cheaper alternatives :)
