I don’t know about you, but this is the first year in a really long time that I am loving the cold weather! Fall and winter are always my favorite seasons to style for, but I used to step foot in the frigid air and hate my life. Something has changed, though, what can I say! Mike and I headed to Forest Park, a place featured countless times on the blog, but this time we ice skated! Something I have not done since I was nine. There will be a blog post on that later, I’m sure… I threw on my new kensie sexy fit, ankle biter skinnies and was ready for a day out at the park.

Just a little disclaimer before I start talking about these amazing skinnies. I was approached by kensie, a young contemporary brand, and they sent me the jeans for free so that I could review them and share an awesome giveaway with my lovely readers! 

I’ll be honest, I am extremely skeptical when it comes to ordering jeans online. You never know how they’re going to fit. Are they true to size? Are they going to be too long? Too short? Ah! I hate it. In most cases I wear a size 27, so I went with my gut and chose the 27 from kensie. Let me tell you something…I have never been happier with a pair of jeans, ever! I was even happier because I didn’t try them on beforehand and they still fit amazingly! Very true-to-size, especially being skinny jeans. I received the sexy fit, ankle biter jean in an almost black wash. I predominantly wear skinnies because they look great with boots and flats, so I was super happy when I opened these bad boys up. Along with fitting true-to-size, they also have a bit of stretch that adds extra comfort and keeps its shape all day long. In fact, I wore them three whole days in a row and they never once got baggy or uncomfortable. If you’re doing some Christmas jean shopping, I would highly suggest any of the kensie jeans.
